Water Quality Testing in Northeast Ohio

Make sure the water in your new home is safe to drink.

Why Test Your Water?

Homes on private wells aren’t covered by the public water testing that city water systems receive, so it’s up to the owner to make sure the water is safe. Water quality testing is also a smart choice in older homes, where aging plumbing can affect what comes out of the tap.

Many lenders require a water test when a home is served by a private well, and every buyer deserves to know the water is safe before they move in.

How Our Water Testing Works

We collect water samples from the tap and the well using proper sampling procedures, then send them to a laboratory for analysis. Testing includes analysis for:

  • Bacterial contamination, including coliform bacteria
  • Heavy metals

Once the lab results are in, we’ll share them with you so you can decide whether any treatment is needed. Pair water testing with a well flow rate test to confirm the well supplies enough water for your household.
