New Construction Phase Inspections in Northeast Ohio

Catch problems while they’re still easy to fix.

What Are Phase Inspections?

Phase inspections evaluate a new home at key stages of construction, not just at the end. Many important components, like framing, plumbing, electrical wiring, and insulation, are hidden behind drywall once the home is finished. Inspecting at multiple phases lets us see them while they’re still visible.

By catching issues early, phase inspections give you and your builder the chance to correct them when it’s fastest and least expensive, and well before final negotiations.

Common Inspection Phases

Pre-Drywall Inspection

Performed after framing, rough plumbing, rough electrical, and HVAC are installed, but before insulation and drywall cover them. We look at framing, structural connections, window and door installation, and the rough-in of major systems.

Final Inspection

Performed before your final walkthrough, this inspection evaluates the finished home from roof to foundation, including the operation of the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Depending on your build, we can also schedule additional visits at other stages. Contact us to plan the right inspection schedule for your new home. Your detailed, easy-to-read report is delivered the same day, with photos of every item we discussed.
